How do you think the JURY will decide ?

View Full Version : Jacko verdict Java_man 06-03-2005, 08:20 PM How do you think the JURY will decide ? Betrade 06-03-2005, 08:22 PM I think he walks. It seems like juries in this country are intimidated by "star power". I could be wrong, but it's my gut feeling. Java_man 06-03-2005, 08:24 PM rich (well he used to be) and famous almost never do-time. SwiftSloth 06-03-2005, 08:42 PM absolutly no way he'll be guilty. Betrade 06-03-2005, 08:56 PM If he actually IS guilty, I hope he does time. I don't particularly like the dude, but if he's not guilty, I hope he walks. I just hope the jury gets it right, and doesn't pull an O.J. If he is guilty, and they put him away, I hope no one decides to use the occasion as an excuse to start a riot. CowPunk 06-03-2005, 09:05 PM I suspect he'll get a pass - his team did an effective job of discrediting his accusers, and the fact he's a name star will probably be decisive, even given all the smoke rising off 'im. I might be wrong though. fat mike 06-03-2005, 09:15 PM The whole business is too muddy to call, the jurors will vote not guilty and feel like they were wrong... X3nos 06-03-2005, 09:19 PM I like his music, but with all the circumstantial evidence, he's totally guilty. Builds a little theme park, has little boys over, etc. Gawd! I hope he goes to prison to rot . I don't care how nuts the kids mother is, I still believe Michael Jackson is a pedophile freak who build Neverland to lure kids in so he can give them "Jesus Juice" and do whatever else comes to his Jacko Sicko mind! -michele Super Tech 06-03-2005, 09:33 PM I'm not really a violent person but if someone was to ever touch my child in that manor......... I know they have some internet but do you think you could get DA in prison? CowPunk 06-03-2005, 09:36 PM My understanding is that they have content filters which typically block internet forums (they're too easily used to coordinate illegal activity with the outside world.) Snouter 06-03-2005, 09:53 PM His music and his act was totally gay and he is obviously has homo/pedo tendencies, but he has the OJ get out of jail free card. eeper69 06-04-2005, 12:23 AM The jury knows now that the accuser and his brother have lied under oath before. The mother has taken the stand acting like a complete fool. So, I don't see a conviction. I still don't know if he did it, but I think I would need a more credible group of people make the claim before I'd convict. CowPunk 06-04-2005, 12:32 AM His music and his act was totally gay and he is obviously has homo/pedo tendencies, but he has the OJ get out of jail free card. - Yes, Snouter, but, still, he was more talented than you are. Oberon 06-04-2005, 12:41 AM - Yes, Snouter, but, still, he was more talented than you are. LOL I never saw any evidence he was guilty. Being neurotic and living in California is not conclusive proof of anything. Based on what 'evidence' has been bandied about on TV I would vote not guilty; there is not anything there, and it boils down to a sensationalist prosecutor and no credibility in the 'witnesses' nor the 'victim'. I suspect his great crime was the same as Martha Stewart's, being a big donor to Democrats. boedicca 06-04-2005, 12:43 AM I voted for hung jury/mistrial because the choices are incomplete. Jacko will be judged guity on the providing alcohol to minor charge. I think he will get off (pun intended) on the child molestation charge - despite the late breaking Vaseline info. boedicca 06-04-2005, 12:45 AM I suspect his great crime was the same as Martha Stewart's, being a big donor to Democrats. My tinfoil bodysuit is still at the cleaners - so this one will not fly. Jacko's politics have absolutely nothing to do with this case - unless you want ot argue that pedophilia is a plank in the Dem platform. boedicca 06-04-2005, 12:47 AM The jury knows now that the accuser and his brother have lied under oath before. The mother has taken the stand acting like a complete fool. So, I don't see a conviction. I still don't know if he did it, but I think I would need a more credible group of people make the claim before I'd convict. Here's the thing: kids from dysfunctional families are the likely targets of pedophiles. The fact that the mother is a travelling freakshow puts her kids at risk of being prey for people like Jacko. Strong, solid families generally don't let their kids spend the night with a grown man who lives in his own circus. Java_man 06-04-2005, 01:03 AM the mother is not playing with a full deck ... and he will be aquited due to her lack of crediblilty .... I think Jacko is even more nutz and a danger to any male under 16 boedicca 06-04-2005, 01:06 AM the mother is not playing with a full deck ... and he will be aquited due to her lack of crediblilty .... I think Jacko is even more nutz and a danger to any male under 16 Thus providing more assurance for pedophiles that they can escape conviction if they prey on the children of freakshow adults. Corky 06-04-2005, 01:53 AM If he gets acquitted, all the ice cream truck drivers in America will be dusting off their clown suits and renewing their NAMBLA memberships. CowPunk 06-04-2005, 02:00 AM I never saw any evidence he was guilty. Being neurotic and living in California is not conclusive proof of anything. I suspect his great crime was the same as Martha Stewart's, being a big donor to Democrats. - I subscribe to the "fire where there's smoke" theory, and assume that he wouldn't have coughed up $22 million without a good reason; i.e., guilt for child molestation. The evidence in this case, however, isn't strong enough for a conviction. In fact, I'm surprised the prosecutor pumped this many resources behind it. X3nos 06-04-2005, 04:56 AM Here's the thing: kids from dysfunctional families are the likely targets of pedophiles. The fact that the mother is a travelling freakshow puts her kids at risk of being prey for people like Jacko. Strong, solid families generally don't let their kids spend the night with a grown man who lives in his own circus. You're totally right. You got a guy who admitted he sleeps with little boys. A guy who’s had homosexual magazines in the rooms where he has slept with the little boys. Has given them wine (I’m sorry, “Jesus Juice”). Now, if anyone STILL doesn’t believe something disgusting is going on, then I suppose this is just an example of why people like Jacko get away with such things. And keep in mind above all else, multiple boys have came forward and said Jacko has done perverted things to them. Are they all totally lying? I doubt it, I think Jacko has pulled the woe over many eyes but now I think most are starting to see through his lies. Neverland is nothing more than a tool to lure boys in, and for a while Wacko Jacko has gotten away with it, thanks to all the morons who let him. GAWD! -michele Ponycar_302 06-04-2005, 06:27 AM If he actually IS guilty, I hope he does time. I don't particularly like the dude, but if he's not guilty, I hope he walks. Those three quotes pretty much sum up my feelings. :nice: IFF 06-04-2005, 06:28 AM before the trial, i thought he was deffinately guilty but after hearing about the evidence in the court, i'm not too sure oki 06-04-2005, 06:51 AM hell get off free. and should, because I dont think he did it. sure he loves children, and is wierd, but that doesnt make him a raping pedo maniac. X3nos 06-04-2005, 07:22 AM hell get off free. and should, because I dont think he did it. sure he loves children, and is wierd, but that doesnt make him a raping pedo maniac. So all the boys are lying? Even the one Jacko bought off to keep quiet? What was it... about 22 million???? Ah, I suppose sleeping with little boys is a normal "Loving" thing grown men do... Come on now... this goes beyond weird. -michele 302Riz 06-04-2005, 08:38 AM I havent followed the trial at all but I would be surprised if he is found guilty. MJ's creep factor is off the charts, though. Corky 06-04-2005, 01:29 PM If he's acquitted, wouldn't it be cool if America's children took to the streets and started rioting? http://defenestrator.org/antiwar/angry_child.jpg  Java_man 06-04-2005, 01:36 PM   BadNews88 06-04-2005, 01:50 PM Sadly, I have to say "NOT guilty"....ONLY because of the "star status" and the $$ - MOOLAH - $$ this eggshelled ex-superstar has... If he's acquitted, wouldn't it be cool if America's children took to the streets and started rioting? http://defenestrator.org/antiwar/angry_child.jpg  :bowrofl:  SQUARED.. SwiftSloth 06-04-2005, 02:31 PM I would believe he was guilty, except for 2 things: 1. The conflicting evidence presented by the prosecution, when they told storys that totally contradicted each other, which is believable because 2. Given the slightest chance to get lots and lots of money from a rich celebrity, while becoming famous yourself is im sure very tempting to familys already as f'ed up as this. Criminal 06-04-2005, 07:07 PM I think he might be found guilty but probibly will not get the same amount of jail time anyone else would get. :hmm: oki 06-04-2005, 07:12 PM So all the boys are lying? Ah, I suppose sleeping with little boys is a normal "Loving" thing grown men do... Come on now... this goes beyond weird. -michele it was a settlement, to prevent a court case. which you can allso see as a succesfull bribe. I dont know , ofcourse, but Ive heard nothing really convincing from the case, over the last few months. I think jackson conciders himself still a little kid and sees no harm in doing what he does. if he did do it he should be thrown in jail , ofcourse. minni_the_minx 06-04-2005, 07:22 PM Im of mixed opinion on this subject, on the one hand, I dont think sharing a bed with young kids is normal by any stretch of the imagination, however, I also know as a parent, no amount of "bribe money" would keep me quiet, if I felt my child had been abused, I would want justice for my child and the monster responsible behind bars for the rest of his natural days. With the allegations against him both past and present, what self respecting parent would allow their child anywhere near in the fist place??? They do say there's no smoke without fire, guilty or not guilty, perhaps we will never really know the absolute truth here. X3nos 06-04-2005, 09:39 PM it was a settlement, to prevent a court case. which you can allso see as a succesfull bribe. Yeah, I understand it was a settlement, he basically paid them to keep quiet. I totally get why people are skeptical about this case though, but sexual predators go for kids like this who have a wacked parent. Jacko considers himself a kid? lol, that's fine, but that doesn't mean he should sleep with kids in his bed while doing who knows what with them. -michele "Jacko touched me in my private, but its okay because he thinks he's a kid like me!" :eek7: Zoot 06-05-2005, 01:24 AM People in that position are wierd...and the people they hang around are wierd. How the h*ll could you make a fair judgement? As a Mom....that freak wouldn't come anywhere near my kids....so if those Mom's gave him access....they reap what they sow and I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for them. MY KIDS aren't for sale! And I think that's true for MOST PARENTS. The other's are too retarded to be parents in the first place. THEY TOO...should go to jail. BadNews88 06-05-2005, 03:19 PM I think he might be found guilty but probibly will not get the same amount of jail time anyone else would get. :hmm: Whether you mean less or more time....either because of his clebrity status (Hence "less") or because of the severity of the charges (Hence "more")....either way, he WILL NOT MAKE IT in the Hoosegow...for it would just be a matter of time before the inmates would pick him apart like a roast chicken.... :P oki 06-05-2005, 06:37 PM Yeah, I understand it was a settlement, he basically paid them to keep quiet. I totally get why people are skeptical about this case though, but sexual predators go for kids like this who have a wacked parent. And I think that's true for MOST PARENTS. The other's are too retarded to be parents in the first place. THEY TOO...should go to jail. That's the best post I've read on this thread so far. My kids aren't for sale either, and I wouldn't allow them near anyone who is already KNOWN to have paid hush money to prevent an indictment, for child sexual abuse. Besides that, I think Jacko's got some serious issues to begin with. I mean, what normal person with a stable personality and mind would cut their face up like he has????? Something very WRONG is going on with that guy. All one needs to do is LOOK at him and it becomes painfully obvious. boedicca 06-05-2005, 10:01 PM People in that position are wierd...and the people they hang around are wierd. The Mom's actions and character do not give Jacko (or anybody else for that matter) a legal or moral justication to sexually abuse the kids. The Mom's actions and character do not give Jacko (or anybody else for that matter) a legal or moral justication to sexually abuse the kids. I agree ... the whole affair is a big sideshow and the kids will end up getting the raw deal. Rightly or wrongly ... the case weighs heavily on the veracity of the mother ... in this case ... I think Jacko will walk because of that. boedicca 06-05-2005, 10:17 PM I agree ... the whole affair is a big sideshow and the kids will end up getting the raw deal. Rightly or wrongly ... the case weighs heavily on the veracity of the mother ... in this case ... I think Jacko will walk because of that. And as I noted earlier, it will demonstrate to other pedophiles that if they wish to get away with abusing kids, they should pick ones from dysfuntional families with disturbed parents. Corky 06-05-2005, 10:18 PM After the recent acquittal of Michael Jackson, demonstrations erupted into violence at the Neverland compound. http://home.ripway.com/2004-1/56687/Neverland.jpg Java_man 06-05-2005, 10:26 PM   good one corky ! can I use that on another board ? I just wonder why he did not go on the stand to defend himself. CowPunk 06-06-2005, 07:44 PM Why should he offer the prosecution the opportunity to expose the jury to his weirdness? 86Dude 06-06-2005, 09:45 PM I can't help but feel sorry for him, or whatever he is. Black money grabbers testimony on the plaintiffs side don't exactly equal a credible source IMO. I tend to lean toward not guilty. |
