I've had to reboot about 10 times tonight due to my mouse hanging up. It's not one with a ball (much like the men I chose)....but anyway....I don't know what is wrong with it. I suppose I'll go purchase another one tomorrow. Has anyone tried the wireless kind and do they work?

Microsoft's wireless desktop 3 is a good keyboard/mouse combo. Will require battery changes every six months or so.
There are several manufacturers who make rechargable mice, but, they are quite pricy...
Basically, MS or Logitech are the better ones (at least in my experience)...

It sounds like a possible driver issue

I also have a logitech cordless. Works great. The only problem I have had was with the placement of the base station. It was dropping the signal due to the location I placed it.

From what I've seen, Logitechs last longer.

I've got the Logitec MediaPlay wireless optical mouse. It's got a bunch of buttons on it for controlling CDs and DVDs, volume and back/forward with internet browsing :)
I got it a month ago (??) and I've VERY happy with it.

Lasting longer is a good attribute for devices with balls.
