With the U.S. still bogged down in Iraq, it will be interesting to see what people think of this new show Over There, which focuses on U.S. troops in Iraq (I'm assuming during the actual attack stage of the war). Seems like the show could be very engaging, and maybe controversial depending on how it portrays the war. I'm curious to check it out.

I think we probably have enough soldiers back who could give a reasonable argument one way or the other. Even among the many who I know personally.....opinions are varied as to the reasons of the war...but not it's environment once they are actually there. Hopefully, the program will stay true to that and not make a mockery of it.

yeah it will be especially interesting to see what soldiers think of the show. I imagine they talked/worked closely with soldiers to make it as authentic as possible. I'm not aware of any shows about a war that aired while the war was still going on, so this seems like a first.

I've seen the previews for this recently and think it looks pretty neat. It will be interesting to hear what soldeirs have to say about how they dpeict the war in iraq. I'll tune in and see what it's like.

I've heard people say that Erik Palladino (from ER I believe) is supposed to be really good on the show.

BUMP

Has anyone watched the first two episodes of this? I've been loving it so far. First episode pretty good, but the second got even better. I like the camera work they use, and the acting seems pretty solid too.

I keep missing it! Darn it, and it repeats alot.

What day is the new one on?

I did see one show and really liked it.

Nip & Tuck started back this week. Like it too.

I've watched it a few times, and it seems extremely negative to me. I would like to hear a review from a vet who's been in Iraq.
