View Full Version : Good Bye Dr Carter Fayebelle 05-13-2005, 12:49 PM I can't believe he's leaving! What will ER be w/out him?! :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: Bear Stories 05-13-2005, 01:07 PM Carter was a great character and he had a really good run. He will be sorely missed, but one of the things that I love about ER is the ever changing cast. Personally, I think that the producers are grooming the little rock & roll doctor, (whom I think is just adorable), to step into the character arc void that will be left by Carter's exodus. I'm really happy for Noah Wylie....I think he's a great actor and it will be really interesting to see what he does with this next phase of his career. Zoot 05-13-2005, 01:09 PM I caught the end of that last night Fayebelle and thought of you. I know you really like that show. Since 'The Apprentice' is about over for this season....I won't have anything left to watch on Thursday night. Red 05-13-2005, 01:16 PM i stopped watching after Julianna Margulies left... :( Zoot 05-13-2005, 01:20 PM If it goes into reruns....maybe I'll start watching it from the beginning. I usually don't want more than one regular show per night to watch....so I've been avoiding it. Fayebelle 05-13-2005, 01:21 PM Personally, I think that the producers are grooming the little rock & roll doctor, (whom I think is just adorable), to step into the character arc void that will be left by Carter's exodus. His name is Shane West and he was AMAZING in A Walk To Remember Bear Stories 05-13-2005, 01:26 PM Thanks for the info, Fayebelle. I'll have to check that out. :nice: SecretSamadhi 05-13-2005, 01:30 PM I can't believe he's leaving! What will ER be w/out him?! :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: :sadwavey: I'm with you.... I love John Carter so. :nonono: :( Monster 05-13-2005, 02:16 PM At least they're not killing him off. I don't watch much TV anymore, but I caught last night's episode and can guess what I missed. I actually don't know what will happen to the show's ratings next season specifically because of this. So many viewers (women especially) watch E.R. for Noah Wylie that they're going to be relying solely on Goran Visn-whats-his-name for that part of their audience base. Guess we'll find out soon, though. Two Way Radio 05-13-2005, 03:23 PM I stopped watching after most of the original cast left. It was a good show, it justs gets old with time. Fayebelle 05-13-2005, 03:25 PM That's why I'm sad- this is the last of the origionals except for Jerry (I LOVE) and Susan (Who sucks since she came back) *sigh* end of another era |
