I'm going to give myself a self-imposed ban on the political and other debate threads, for a while. There are a few reasons for that, one of them is the way i've been responding to some people... i've been short, and sometimes rude, and when that happens, it's time to take a break.

I know why i've been that way, it has to do with where i'm at spiritually, right now. I had an incredibly awesome 3 months at ywam in Kona, and then another (tough, but really good) 2 1/2 months overseas, in Southeast Asia, and I guess my re-adjustment back into worldly, everyday life has been akin to going from a wonderful, huge abundant feast, to eating crumbs. (spiritually speaking) I'm not sure if that made sense to anyone, but I hope it did. :D

Something that happened earlier today made me realize this, and that's why I need to take a break from debating, and concentrate on other things. :) And also, I need to ask for a clean heart, so that's what i'm going to do.

I'll still be posting, but just on the light, fun threads in the non-debate forums.

You can only debate on serious threads for so long, then eventually you get to the point of beating your head against the brick wall arguing the same points over and over again with no results and buttons get pushed and things get said yada yada yada.

Breaks are good for the soul. :)

I just wanted to clarify that in case it was misunderstood by anyone. What I meant was, since I've been back in the states, and in the place i'm now living... I'm not around Christians, and I haven't really found a church that i'm going to regularly yet, and my daily routine is nothing at all like it was when at ywam, so that has caused me to sort of backslide, although I want to get back to being in the right place. But you knew what I meant. :p
