Does anyone watch this show? I saw that last 1/2 last night and thought it was really good. I love having new shows to watch.

I like it. I watched ER religiously until it got dumb with too much emphasis on the personal lives of the characters. I think this show may replace my ER fix though.

I haven't seen the show, but I bet the book is better :p

love it so far. still like scrubs better, but this show is pretty good.

first episode started with meredith at home, naked with a guy who you find out later is the resident doctor at the hospital she's starting her residency at that day. at the beginning of the day at the hospital all the main characters are introduced, the model, the goofy guy, sandra oh, and their resident. the resident is known as the nazi because she's a hard ass. during their first shift a teen girl that competes in beauty pageants gets admitted because she's having seizures. no one can find out what's wrong with her, so the attending doctor makes a contest for the interns to figure it out. the prize is getting to assist on a major procedure on their first day. sandra oh and meredith work together and eventually find out what's wrong with the girl. sandra oh gets angry because the attedning doctor chooses meredith over her to assist, even though meredith claimed she didn't want to. at the very end of the show you find out the meredith's mom, who is world famous surgeon, has alzeimer's.

umm....can't really remember the beginnning of last night's episode. somehow everyone got given individual assignments, the model got sutures, goofy guy trauma, sandra oh rounds, and meredith, um, i don't remember. it kind of got overshadowed by the whole penis thing later. anyways, a rape victim comes into the er and during surgery they discover that she bit off the penis of her attacker. being the first to realize what the penis was, meredith got custody. goofy guy was all depressed from all the people that died in trauma and meredith was depressed about her sharing a pair of shoes with the rape victim, so they went to cheer themselves up with babies. while looking at the newborns, meredith sees one go blue and gets all worked up about its heart murmer getting checked out. i think that's about half the show there. any more questioons?
