…this will be one of my memorable Daddy moments.

We were out with our Sunday School class friends at Dickey's BBQ, which usually means the kids are at the nearest booth to our table. Well, Connor was sitting there with both Elizabeth and Ashley - both little girls that have announced intentions to marry him at different times, and he likewise. You know, cute kid puppy-love.

Well... halfway through lunch, Connor waves to get my attention and in that overly-loud stage whisper that passes for quiet communication amongst kids, he tells me,

'Daddy! I have a problem! I can't marry *both* of these girls! Now they're arguing over me! Help!'

I almost fell out of my chair, trying not to laugh. All the parents got a hoot out of that. I assured him he needn't worry about it anytime soon, but a few minutes later I hear Elizabeth saying 'Okay, we'll do eeny, meeny, miney, moe' and a short time later Ashley saying 'Hey, wait, I didn't win. I wanna try again!'

I haven't been that tickled in a long time. :nice:

The look on his face was priceless. I was sitting across from Elizabeth's mom, and she laughed just seeing his face, and when I told her what he said, she laughed until she had tears.
