yes, not the thread where i blame the rest of the world for me being single where it's obviously my own fault that i'm single, it's the thread where i bore everyone with how my exams are going
i'll try to post same day exam opinions on how they went though this may not always be possible
also my exams are spread out over 10 days or 11 days. i can't count but hopefully that won't matter in these exams. maybe it'd help me though
anyway my schedulte is:
18/01 - financial management
19/01 - corporate reporting & accoutnability
24/01 - Management Accounting
26/01 - Management Information Systems
28/01 - Auditing
Auditing would be my worst exam i think but i should pass it
i've been working hard so i'm not too fazed by them and as everyone who;'s read this post (yes all 2 of you), you can see the tests are well spread which will also help
financial management
this was a bad exam. question3, 4 and 5 were ok but querstion 1 was a bad question. it was the fault of the examiner that it was a bad question and that it wouldn't work out, not mine though. everyone thought the same so i'm sure this will be taken into account when the examiner is correcting the question. there was an error in the question and i had to read it several times to make surte that it wasn't my error
though everyone saw the error and we're all mad at it
i think the other questions went fine and i'll hopefully get a ood grade for what i did in this querstion
Corporate Reporting & Accountability
i got the consolidated account to balance with 3 minutes left in the exam. i was happy with how the exam went . i could have done a wee bit better if i managed my time better but i know i passed anyway
and the lecturere of yesterday's exam, i was talking to today and he said what he's going to do. i'm satisfied with his solution as it works out weel for me. i don't know whether it does for other people though.
Management Accounting
what can i say? that i shopuld have been studying last night instead of watching mcnabb & co beat falcons? that it was a terrible test and the lecturer goes out of his way to make out lives hell? that i'm very satisfied with the test and that i'm happy with how well i did with it?
i think it's the 3rd one. i'm very hapy with the test. it was good. it could have been (and should have been) alot worse
Management Informatio n Systems
this was not as good as i thought it would be. it was ok i thought but judging by the exam papers it should have been alot easier then it was. i thought it was a hard exam in repect of this fact but overall, i'm pleased with how i did in it
though will i be saying this in 2 weeks time when i get the results
Auditing
i'm happyn with how this one went. it wasn't great out of the worldliness great but it was not nearly as bad as i thought it would be. i'm very satisfied with how it went/. i've no arguments. i'm happy. i was very worried about the exam in generally but my fears i now know were dumb and ill-founded :D. i didn't like question 2 though but alol in all i'm satisfied
though will i be satisfied when the resutls come?
ok my results were as follows
business case study - 75 all continous assessment here
corporate reporting and accountability - 80 ( about 80 or 81 in the exam)
financial management - 72 (69 in exam)
management account - 85 (about 81 in exam)
Mis - 71 (about 64 in exam)
auditing - 70 (71 in exam)
only auditing and corporate reporting went up from continous assment but i scored an average of 75.5 so for anyone keeping scores, this went up from previous years
