i've been posting alot more and i was just wondering what is next and how many posts do i have to hit before i get the new title? btw manu i promise not to post ***** too much :D

This is going to be changing soon. I am going to add 5-6 more titles and increase the space between them.

Cause come on, 50 posts and being a senior member? We have some people get that in a day!

i know lately i have been on every other day and i get like at least 10 posts..but i like to read alot of what people say and i only like to post if it has legitimate reasoning.

eat some bran cereal, that will do it :D

Don't you think that this would lead to a gray area of subjectivity? Subjectivity in the sense that someone would have to decide what is "quality" and what is not. I suppose that would be up to the admins, but hell, that's a lot of reading. Don't you agree?

On the other hand, the system that is in place now (albeit lending itself to postwh***ing) does establish a standard based on certain, ascending, order and it is "fair" (for lack of a better word) to those wishing to discuss topics and be "condusive" to the spirit of dialouge on this board.

Well, I for one read almost every thread/ post every day. I don't read the political forum, but I def get all the rest. I am sure the true admins read most all too.

I am refering to when a post turns into a chat session, things go way off topic, the same people respond to every post instead of summing it up all into one post, responding 2 minutes on the same thread after you just posted (edit and add to your thread!) That is what I am refering to when I speak of "quantity"

quality is when you obviously add something to the thread. Granted alot of threads are in fun, and responses are humorous etc... but, this is a discussion board, not a chat room


that is my take on thing, and not the ideas of the admins etc (at least I don't think it is and I wasn't told to say that :))

i hate it when the board's things atr etoo easy to get

What about a 'DA Master' (compromise, eh)

I do not think we will have a 'set' limit for titles. The site is too small and that encourages people to PW, etc. I think more, we will do it as a joke/fun thing with people who say funny things, add a lot to the boards, or are regulars...but this will be slow, while the site is small.

I agree that the cutom title thing it more fun when it's given out by the admins. I like the way stangnet does it, other boards just have people whoring their way to titles, which contributes nothing to the site in terms of WORTHWHILE content. I agree that maybe there should be a larger degree of the auto titles though, but nothing too cool to promote whoring.

I'd have to strike down the Jedi one unfortunately. I think that the various DA ____ work well, just need more variety.
