Do TV shows reflect what the current morals are of society? Do TV shows help guide what the morals should be? Or doesn't it matter what TV shows are doing since it has no say or reflection on morals in general?

This is not working or i'm doing it wrong. Let me try again. tv is a means of conditioning viewers, even sit coms do --all you have to do is observe kids or young adults. They all ape tv Commercials do and so do all other programs and IT IS INTENTIONAL and tv does affect the morals of most young people especially pre teens, teens and young adults as well as not so young adults. I don't watch a lot of TV and when I do it's usually news or historical in nature. observe this 12-09-2004, 10:04 PM I noticed that, man! Manu 12-12-2004, 02:07 AM I think it is mostly reflective of society. I mean, ultimately, TV is fantasy. Just as novels, movies, and everything is about the surreal, pushing limits, TV is as well. |
