My brother knocked some sense into me today. I take things on an internet message board way too personally. I was telling him about the stuff that was going on and his response was "Who ****ing cares?!"

And he's right. I've been treating everything as IRL stuff with people I have never met and probably will never meet.

So from this point on, I don't ****ing care

I was told by a friend yesterday that the answer "K" is passive-agressive. I use a lot too. For the most part, I don't take stuff here seriously, EXCEPT that I have five people here that I know personally (in real life) and that stuff I do take personally.

I value taking things personally. I know that sounds wierd, but sometimes the big arguments we undertake here can amount to good.

True but I was catching feelings over someone giving me -3k rep and the other neg rep I was getting. Why should I care that people don't like me on here. I've got people who do.

:nice: Contra thinks it bothers me when he calls me a ***, dickwad, and metrosexual. It does't. :)

It is, and that's why I use it. Whenever people tell me things I don't give a **** about, I simply say "OK" and they shut up.

I'm thinking you've said the word "ok" to me once or twice. :|

It means "I'm too lazy to be racist" :|

I probably have, it doesn't always mean that, it's all about the delivery. :)

Yeah, me too. That's EXACTLY when I use it. My friend said it was "passive-agressive" though, so I told him "K" :D I find I use it a lot with my mom too.

that's the spirit, as long as it doesn't prevent you from falling madly in love with me.

I was told by a friend yesterday that passive-aggressive is no worse than aggressive-aggressive. To each his and her own way of expressing aggression.

As for 'k': I love it. A dear, dear friend used to say it all the time. He's gone now, but whenever someone says it, he's here again for an instant.

I care about what goes on on this board, within reason. I don't like to engage in things I don't care about at all.
