I wouldn't want this kind of thing floating around if I had a military command... M. Brainbuster 12-04-2004, 02:46 AM Mosque Fighting positions...KA_BOOM! Betty 12-04-2004, 03:09 AM Why is it unclassified? I wouldn't want this kind of thing floating around if I had a military command... M. Because the info is already out to the press. It's been approved for public release for some time now. That's why. FOX, CNN, NBC, CBS, Al Jazeera, etc... have this information and have broadcasted the parts they felt would be of interest. If you decided to go to those locations, the only thing you'll find is bullet holes, craters, and blood stains. This is just a more consolidated mapped version that I've been nice enough to provide for you to view. Malcolm Wright 12-04-2004, 03:17 AM Because the info is already out to the press. Its interesting to see just how many centers of resistance there are in the town. What does IED stand for in 'IED factories' ? M. Betty 12-04-2004, 03:26 AM Improvised Explosive Device. Those are where they set up vehicles to be car bombs, wire artillery shells to be remotely detonated on passing schoolbuses full of children, etc... Malcolm Wright 12-04-2004, 03:37 AM Improvised Explosive Device. Those are where they set up vehicles to be car bombs, wire artillery shells to be remotely detonated on passing schoolbuses full of children, etc... Wow, do they try to get school buses with those devices? I would have thought they were too busy trying to kill American soldiers, and Iraqi police... M. Betty 12-04-2004, 11:29 AM Nah, they've killed way more Iraqi's than Americans. A Shi'ite is almost as bad as an American in their eyes, and they're way easier to kill. They don't normally target schoolbuses, but it has happened, especially if there are Americans or Iraqi authorities nearby. |
