Lumpias are a Filipino version of EggRolls. Every family has a different way of doing them. Some with beef and veggies, some with veggies only. They're deep fried and served with a vinegar concoction that the lumpias are dipped into. They're really quite nice.

Taking a break from scanning five million pictures for a work project by reading this thread ... pondering the irresistable allure of green M&M's for some males ... listening to a homemade compilation of ska ... drinking a near-perfect cosmopolitan .... while watching the clock slip past 4a.m. without a care, since I don't need to be up until the Blackhawks' hockey game starts at 2p.m., so who cares.

Picking up on Jastang's point ... a single post in this thread could go on nearly without end. For example, I need to answer the call, and will return to let you know how that went (although that would be past tense, but the keyboard cord won't reach the bathroom, but you get the point).

ohhh, yeah we have laptops at my school. each student is "loaned" a lappy for "educational purposes." they're supposed to help us learn with technology or somethin. i jus use it to surf the internet and play around. there are airports around the school n the connection is wireless, very convenient :) about 2 mins after i wrote my reply, it died on me cuz i didnt charge it last night. the battery only lasts like 3 hours or so...

Well at least there should be fewer idiots blowing their fingers off this year. But I can usually sit in my living room and still see the fireworks that are set off on a local fairgound if they go up high enough to be seen over the other buildings here.

Well, you're actually safer. I'm glad you're not on the streets and I strongly prefer that my children stay home tonight too for just that reason.

I lost one child though... our local roller skating rink does a "lock-in" and I've already taken him and his little friend to it. I have to go get them at 7 a.m. (yuk).

I really would rather he stayed home, but try not to be a smother-mother. They are inside and well-chaperoned by the wonderful lady who runs our local rink and her family so it's a good safe thing for pre-teens and teens.

Haha, I used to have a 12InchVegita... but it's defunct. It refers to a large dollie (well, action figure) I bought my son to beat up his 12 inch Goku and 16 inch Majin Buu with.

I have a small variety of "dead" names, DBZ names (including 3 Krillin versions) and a few rare disease names also and more.

Making up game room names is something of a hobby. (and yes I have a Spab there too and a SidVicious version)
