How clever....the ol' "pretend-to-surrender-then-open-fire" gag...I think I saw that on F-Troop one time....

I wonder how many billions of taxpayer dollars went into training our strategic-minded officers so they could not see that one coming.

They have their hands tied behind their backs by libs and war monger ploiticians right now,but if they ever get sick of it,maybe they will take this unfair shiit into thier own hands and start blowing up that helhole. this begs a few questions: Did the marines have obvious control of the situation?
Did the US forces still consider those men a potential threat?
If the US forces fired upon them first (i.e. saw weapons come up and fired before the enemy got a shot off) would this be against the rules of war?

I guess nothing is obvious, and any man alive or dead is still a potential threat. And any Marine has the right and duty to eliminate whatever he perceives as threatening

They have to die "AGAIN" so we could kiss some more iraqi azz. We have to make sure they are ok and if it gets us killed in the process ,so be it ! Didnt I just read a thread where many who posted here indignant at this kind of behavious belived war had no rules? Well guess what this is the kind of enviroment you create when war has no rules. Gitmo, Abu Ghirab, Bombing Urban areas, shooting wounded etc. This is the lowest common denominator. If we sink to that level then get out the Rack and wheel, you might as well get medevil cause thats all thats left. Just dont be suprised when one of you guys gets it to.

How evil? Invading a country on the pretense of WMD's, killing thousands of their countrymen by accident, siding with Israel, Abu Ghirab, killing wounded men, all of which I am sure they see as evil even if many of us simply see that as mistakes. Its all about perspective and if you are not willing to see the world through your enemies eyes I suspect you are doomed to go down to defeat. Invade Canada under the same circumstances and I am sure I would feel the same way.

If there were no rules, we'd have shot them as soon as they showed themselves, no matter what color cloth they had up. This is another example of us losing by trying to be "morally superior".
