ok the title is based on the song "perfect day" from the great new album from OPM called "forthemasses"

7pm: i take a break from studying at college to go onto the computers at college. i check my e-mails. i had an e-mail update from a mailing list (that is filed under cycling) it was from the navigators insurance team (does anyone have an insurance policy with these guys  ) anyway, they have a cyclist already on their books Ciaran Power who i think they are not utilising to his best of his ability but now they have another cyclist that i really like David O'loughlin for next season. it's not that i dislike the team, i just don't think they have used ciaran power to his full potential which is a shame. i would honestly have preferred both riders to be on european teams

8:30pm: i;'ve returned to studying for aboujt an hour and 10 minutes but now my mother is there to collect me. i go down from the library with the material that i was studying with to the bagroom. there i had my bag in one of the pigeonholes boxes(as people are supposed to) but i couldn't find my bag./ it was gone, i hoped someone has taken it by accident and it would reappear the next day but sadly no luck. i think someone has stolen it.

i didn;'t have too much in it ( the irish times, the financial times, a broken ruler, an unused a4 pad but there was also something else). this something else is going to take time to replace as i have to go to the post office, fill our a form, send the form to sligo and then wait for the people in sligo to send me a replacement. i''ve aldone all i can do now and the form is on it's way to sligo.

the reason i was studying late was because i had a test the next day in financial management.

9:10pm: i'm finally home after a long and ardous day. i have a letter at home. it's from KPMG (a big big accounting practice in ireland). it's about how they were inundated with application forms for their July 2005 graduate programme (which i apply to as i'm finished college in June 2005) and how they were rejecting me even before the interview stage

Wednesday Morning/Tuesday night: i did not get a good night's sleep becasue i was worried sick about my bag. this didn't bode well for the exam.

Wednesday: 10am - 4pm: whoever i talk to at reception seems to be giving me the run around. they are not bothered aboput how bags are gone missing. i learn that there are other people who have liost their bags. The student union on the other hand has been as helpfukl as they could be and this is really appreciated. though there isn't as much as they could do apart from talk to people in a position to do something but they've done their best and that is welcomed. reception is of no help whatsoever

Wednesday 7pm: i come home. i open up the MLindo (mid-louth independent, offshoot of the Drogheda independent). who do i see on the front but the person who bullied me in primary school. in may 2003, he was sentenced to 14 years for "manslaughter" (laughable,. it should have been murder) but now some judge felt that 14 years is too severe for killing someone on purpose and he's reduced it to 10 years.

btw: how the exam on wednesday in financial management went is not mentioned as i felt i did ok in it.
