Has anyone installed this monster yet? It seems that the only way to get it right now is to d/l the whole thing at once, (270 MB). I'm downloading it....but I'm not sure I'm going to install it, at least not right now.
It's available here. (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=049C9DBE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en)

I'm going to hold off for a while.
I was'nt going to mess with it, but I've already spent a good two hours disinfecting MORE spyware/malware/adware etc etc etc off my computer. I hope I got it all....but SP2 is supposed to help protect against crap like this.
You'd cringe if you saw my bitdefender log. :(

that'll be real cool if SP2 does help w/ that. .... currently my process for spywaye is to scan first with lavasoft's adaware (after emptying cookies and deleting temp files / temp inet files) ... 'cause it automatically cleans ... then I use a nother program that I downloaded from pestpatrol.com to scan again (w/ that one you have to do a manual clean of what it finds) .... it's a PITA but keeps me safe and secure.
