Maybe you guys can help me - my knowledge of computers is pretty narrow in scope.

I format books for people. I use Word and many of its features, and I use an Adobe knockoff to convert those files to pdf format.

I have a question about the Word program used in those itty, bitty pocket PCs. (Y'see, I sometimes fly cross-country or otherwise waste lots of time.) It's my understanding that programs are limited in scope for pocket PCs - does this mean that the Word program for a pocket PC won't have the formatting capabilities of the version on my desktop computer?

I'm just thinking about how convenient it would be to have a pocket PC and foldup, full-size keyboard......

to my knowladge, none of the word processing applications will be able to do what you want, you would probubly be better off with a laptop. In fact you would most definatly be better off with a laptop.

my palm pilot has "word to go" and it DOES have formatting abilitys built in but only your basic stuff like tabs, type styles and line spacing. The bad thing is that the doc is very small on the Palm and while you can do formatting its difficult to see what you are doing.
