cool or "rice"?

I like them. I think side windows on a case are pretty neat. I actualy modded an old case and put in some crappy window kit I got at CompUSA. It was crap, but still, kinda neat.

Ever looked at some seriously modded cases? Check out this section of the [H]ardforum (http://hardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=76) :nice:

post pics if you have any!

I like it. :)

My computer has a window in the side. All the fans are UV reactive and I have round UV reactive IDE cables, the black light at the bottom lights em up. I saw a mod I was thinking of getting where you can have the light flicker and such to sound, just haven't looked to see how much of a pain it is to do. :)

pimped out cases (http://www.pimpedoutcases.net/news.php)

I have some other sites as well just figured I would post two for now

Case?

I decided to go completely caseless months ago. It's liberating, kinda like wearing no underwear. :nice:

It would be faster, and more riceriffic if you mounted a spoiler on the case, yo.

One of the best case mods I've ever seen:

http://www.thermaltake.com/accessories/xray.htm

It goes into a 5.25" drive bay and gives you...
http://www.thermaltake.com/images/accessories/xray/F-carApplication.jpg A car lighter
http://www.thermaltake.com/images/accessories/xray/F-beverageTray.jpg And a cupholder
http://www.thermaltake.com/images/accessories/xray/F-eject.jpg With an eject button.

HINT: Don't install this directly beneath an optical drive.

My case came with a side window and a lighted fan... I added a couple fans with lights to it. Not that I see it anyhow, It's concealed within my desk.

Dawn sent a Grateful Dead shirt to me, and it had a holographic sticker on it. I put the sticker on my case, does that count as a case mod?

Rice. A bucket is supposed to be plain and functional.

Easy. Take everything out of the case. Connect it all together, (It helps if you run extra grounds from the ps, to the mobo, and drives). Power it up, and that's it. Assemble it on a non-conductive surface, of course.

Here's my rule:

If it improves system performance by either making it faster or more efficient OR it simply makes it more stable by way of cooling more efficiently, then it is GOOD.

If the only purpose is to make it glow in the dark, resemble the undead, or so forth... RICE.
