Do you believe that mental health promotes physical health?

There is indeed a concept of mind over matter as well as the well documented and observed 'placebo effect.'

Clearly, there is some rudimentary role at the minimum that conciousness plays on health, but how profound can that be?

Can Iron Will or Power of the Mind alone cure ailments or diseases? How important is 'staying positive.'

Promote? I don't know. I think they're related.

I don't know anything about the placebo affect. I think mind over matter is real.

I think there is a difference between conciousness and spirituality. I agree the role exists.

Placebo effect is just mind over matter, aided by fake medication.

jojo-

The placebo effect is when a patient is given something like a suger pill or something benign, thinking it is medicine, and they get 'better' or show improvement.

In almost all drug studies now, part of the control is giving a placebo, to make sure the observed effect of medication is beyond any placebo effect.
