Yeah, my diet has been crap lately. I'm starting to workout again now, and try to eat better. Its kinda hard when you have a young wife who can eat whatever she wants without worrying about it. colonel 05-31-2004, 11:15 AM i'm in a similar situation... my previous diet was crap: junkfood, fastfood, sugary beverages... since i've changed my diet i've dropped 12 lbs. Yeah, me too. I dropped soda, anything with white flour and cut way back on the spuds and I've lost nearly 30 lbs. Mind you the trips to the gym didn't hurt either. Red 05-31-2004, 12:45 PM Way to go! Yeah, my diet has been crap lately. I'm starting to workout again now, and try to eat better. Just tried turkey burgers. Guess I'll just have to work out harder cause I ain't eatin that crap again. you have to get ground turkey, the kind that has SOME fat in it, and then you have to season the meat yourself, you cant just eat them plain. I just started weight watchers last week, trying to see if i can be bikini ready by the time my summers classes end in august. (I'm planning on going to san diego in august, and seeing my bf who went to sd on mother's day.) There's something to be said about illnesses after all :D eeper69 06-06-2004, 12:02 PM For the guys, as long as you have a big hammer and know how to nail, it don't matter what size you are :D Althemier 06-20-2004, 05:37 PM well, I've been ill for the last week, didn't eat much ... There's something to be said about illnesses after all :D Yes ive lost a few pounds on the flu diet before. Actually im pretty proud of myself. I lost 30 lbs this year. At the beginning of the year i weighed about 175-180 and theni went into wrestling. I went all out tuna fish and protien bar diet, 3 hours of VERY rigorous exercise every weekday. By the end of wrestling i weighed about 145 and it looked even better 'cuz i grew about 8 inches this year. This actually pretty amazing 'cuz usually losing weight is a bitch for me but i lost all of that in 2 months. Now i weigh about 150 and am puching 5'9" so i still feel in pretty good shape. Heh i never have to worry about eating disorders, my hypoglycemia will bitch slap me the instant i stop eating about twice what a normal person eats. On the other hand this forces me to watch what i eat... :( jwreck 08-09-2004, 11:26 PM HOKY ****!! I've hit 250 lbs!! :eek3: Time to get serious. jwreck 10-21-2006, 06:37 PM wow. here i am 2 years later, fat as ever. its beginning to affect my health. i get out of breath way to easy. i've gotta get busy. i just went for a run and thought i was going to die. :( twinkles 10-21-2006, 08:46 PM Take it easy. See a pro in a gym club who'd set up a programme for you. You won't slim it down in a month, but you will get there in 6 or 12. The trick is not to hate yourself or your body. Really. Just be reasonable. And start to work out a bit, assisted by a good trainer. jwreck 10-23-2006, 03:07 PM Take it easy. See a pro in a gym club who'd set up a programme for you. And start to work out a bit, assisted by a good trainer.i appreciate the advise and support. unfortunately, my my arrogance causes me to view professional trainers as, how to put this politely...not worthy of my money. i know what to do, its just so much easier to not do it. twinkles 10-23-2006, 04:05 PM Listen, they're there to give you good, sound advice, to motivate you. But it's up to you to do the hard work. I find the ones working at my gym club very serious, but then, I don't have any specific expectations... jwreck 12-08-2006, 10:18 AM i'm down to 230 pounds. depression is a heck of a diet. Since you were saying you weren't going out a lot, how about joining that gym? It also does wonders for your state of mind, not just body. jwreck 12-22-2006, 12:20 PM i just got off the scale, and i'm below 230. :w00t: jwreck 01-09-2007, 04:47 PM it just occurred to me today that i've lost 35 lbs! :woohoo: buggy 01-09-2007, 04:57 PM Dang, I need to be depressed again :) Congrats, J! optimus 01-09-2007, 05:01 PM Exercise works pretty good for depression. If you're loosing weight because you're not eating, then that means you're not loosing just fat, you're loosing lean tissue as well. Not good or healthy. jwreck 01-25-2007, 02:28 PM last night i went out in my size 36 wranglers. first time i've had those on in years. :D 86Dude 01-25-2007, 02:33 PM I've gotten too friggin fat.
