Yup close to 2.8 million votes for the Dems 1.7 for the Republicans hell of a victory. With a little luck all those Sunny calif. electoral votes will go the same way.

Nah, he beat Kerry. Once the democratic nominee is down to one person, all those dem votes will be for them and they'll easily beat Bush.

Yea, but how many republicans didn't go to the polls? I would say most of them. Its not a primary, why would they? Going by these numbers it seems Bush would win.

I'm a Republican, and if Republicans are too stupid to get off their asses to vote, they're less useful than a paperweight.
There was a Senate primary for Republicans and most were too lazy to get informed about the candidates. There also were four propositions on the ballot, and if they turned out, maybe the $12.3 billion school bond measure (Prop 55) might have been defeated. Not to mention tons of local races and issues.
Governor Schwarzenegger would have to wield a lot of magic to help get Bush elected President and Bill Jones for Senate here in this state and I don't see either happening. Democrats will close ranks around Scary John F'n Kerry.
Sidenote:
Convicted murderer Leonard Peltier, candidate for the "Peace" & Freedom party, won California. Should be an interesting campaign from his cell block if he's the national candidate.
