Bill Richardson, Bill Graham, John Edwards, Bill Nelson, have all been mentioned. If you are familiar, enlighten us about these possibilities!

My guess(es), in order of likelyhood:

1. Bill Richardson

2. Bill Nelson

3. Hillary Clinton

4. John McCain

Edwards he needs the south and this guy has a great image as a result of the Primaries.

Edwards has pre-emptively said "Heck no!". Otherwise, he'd be the logical choice.....sort of. The problem is, he'd out charismatize, (my word), Kerry. Can't have that, you know.

I do not believe that Edwards will even be asked by the Kerry campaign to be a VP candidate.

Edwards brings absolutely NOTHING to the Kerry campaign. He won NO state (except his own), he made barely a dent in Kerry’s momentum in ANY state (except his own).

Tell me something, folks? Why do you think Edwards ran for Prez? Because he KNOWS he will loose another bid for his current seat! He barely won the first time against an extremely weak candidate and now his state is leaning even more heavily GOP then it did when he ran. He was bound to loose a bid for reelection and he had to try something to stay in the field. That means he would LOVE to be asked to be VP. But he WONT be asked.

Kerry needs a mid western candidate to get him Ohio, Indiana or Missouri. Barring that he needs a big, big name (Hillary) to lock him in. Kerry is a very weak candidate and he absolutely MUST have some of the mid western states to win.

Edwards is DEAD in the water. He is DONE. Stick a FORK in him!!!

However, if you see Kerry go against sane strategy and he DOES ask Edwards you can almost assume Kerry will loose the election. Edwards will do nothing what so ever for the Kerry campaign.

I actually heard Slick Willie's name being tossed around as a possible VP on a talk radio show.

anyway i say, he should look for someone with determination, a person who never gives up despoite the fact that everyone is laughing at them and no one really cares what they do, someone like sharpton or kucinich :D
