the end of my day consisted of being in a room and trying to fix a pc....behind a curtain that seperated the patient from the pc and staging area a kid coded out.

I work in a hospital and this was the first time I was near someone who died and it was a kid. I couldn't get out of the room cause all the doctors and nurses were running in . when I finally was able to get out I heard them saying he didn't make it as I was leaving.

Sorry Griz, that is horrible.

Thnaks everyone. this shook me up some, on many levels. I felt bad for the parents and of course the kid.

Just an experience I do not want to run into again.
