A hooker caught trying to turn a trick on Allegheny Avenue tricked undercover cops last night when she stole their minivan, investigators said.

The two vice officers placed the handcuffed woman in the back seat of the gray Dodge on Allegheny Avenue near Martha Street in Kensington at around 7:45 p.m.

As the pair walked to the front of the van the suspect climbed into the driver's seat and sped away, police said.

Detectives said it only took seconds for the woman to maneuver her cuffed hands from behind her back to her front as cops walked a few feet from the back seat of the van to the steering wheel.

"She jumped in the driver's seat so quick," Detective Debra Reilly said. "It happened so fast."

The van was later recovered on Clearfield Avenue near Ceder Street in Port Richmond and the woman was still on the run last night, authorities said.

Police described the brazen driver as a white female wearing a multicolored winter jacket, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 to 160 pounds. Unless she found a way to take the cuffs off, authorities said the woman still has her hands locked together.

Who's the idiot that left the keys in the ignition?

You know, this weekend I was driving home and there was a cop stopped in the middle of the street, blocking any passage by. I had to turn around and go a bit out of my way. It wasn't that big of an inconvenience, but do they really need to block the whole street when they're answering a minor call?
