Do people take editorials and other opinion pieces too seriously? If it is in print, must it be true?
It seems like people take the News to be the gospel, is that right? Should we limit it?
Editorials are (usually) just that person's opinion. As a viewer, you have the option of either watching or changing the channel. If you don't agree with what someone said during an editorial, that's your choice. Nobody agrees with what everybody says all of the time. When this happens, I just yell at the t.v. then move on. I get over it.
If it's in print, it doesn't always make it true. Unless it's in 'The National Inquirer'.
