BUFFALO (AP) — A drug suspect who went to an airport counter to pick up an illicit shipment of marijuana was instead given two boxes of human organs labeled "PLEASE RUSH — HUMAN TISSUE FOR TRANSPLANT," federal authorities said Tuesday.
Tabitha Bracken, 27, of Toronto, along with Dalvan Robinson, 43, of Lockport, were arrested about 12 hours later after returning to the airport to exchange the medical packages for the ones containing the drugs, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

When the mistake was discovered a short time later, investigators worked unsuccessfully to learn the identity of the woman who had been given the organs, only to discover she had shown fake identification. Law enforcement agencies in Buffalo and Erie County were put on alert to watch out for the missing packages.
In the meantime, authorities opened the Accel Graphics packages and discovered 119 pounds of marijuana wrapped in plastic and newspapers and smeared in mustard, agents said.
