CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — A St. Louis County judge dismissed all charges Monday against a New York man who had been accused of killing a ferret at Lambert Airport after airline officials said he couldn't take the animal on his flight.
Prosecutors said the charges against Stefan Albrecht, 37, of Yonkers, were dismissed for a lack of evidence.
Albrecht was cleared during a bench trial after he'd been accused of beating the ferret on Feb. 7 last year, when he was flying from New York to Phoenix with a layover in St. Louis.
