Has anyone heard about this....

A Tibetam legend tells of a ancient kingdom guaded by snowmen. It is a wealthy kingdom where there is no war or hatred. Where there is so much wealth that no one is poor. All men and women share everything. There is always enough for people to eat. The kingdom is ruled by priests. It is unaccessable by the outside world in the high Himalayas. Anyone who seeks to go there must never leave. Everyone who seeks entry must be pure of heart. They ether enter the kingdom or die trying.

Supposedly this is a technically advanced civilization, where people have use of aircraft. It is one in which the high priests can read the thoughts of others outside and have knowledge of the outside world. Legend also has it that at the end of times, man will know of this kingdom and will seek to destroy it to gain wealth but will be destroyed while trying to invade.

There was a classic novel called "Lost Horizons" on that subject. It was made into a movie with Ronald Comemen in the 1930s. They called the place Shang-ri-la but it was really the same place. Tibetians really belive this place exists. There are even monestaries high in the Himalayas which serve pilgrims who journey to go there.
