I ocassionaly catch a show about them on the Discovery Channel and the things they bring up there are very interesting and kinda scary. I'm no expert on the subject, but I'm interested in learning more. Like, the sphinx was supposedly created thousands of years before the pyramids, and inside the pyramids are small routes inside the walls that are puzzling archeologists, and the alignment of the pyramids and stuff is like a map of the solar system, and over by the Inca's there's those 'landing sites' that stretch miles and miles and are carved out in mountains and stuff, etc etc etc...

anyone into this thing? It looks like one of the major enigma's of history...

You might look for a copy of "Chariots of the Gods"...duh, I think that was the name of it. Lots of stuff about the Inca landing sites, etc.

Personally, I believe we have been invaded and assimilated. Thats just me though:D

One theory is that traders shared infomation, or that at the time, they were limited to what kind of huge buildings they could make. Its not like they could build towers and other complex designs.

Now this is a subject we can all sink our teeth into. A while back I posted a similar thread on Atlantis and this exact same thing came up. I believe our friend Snouter had some excellent ideas on this subject.

Well here is my response regarding the landing strip and "Chariots of the Gods"....

Thats hitting the nail right on the head. Though this is hardly the place for discussing it, I did see a rather old documentry called "Chariots of the Gods". I have been trying to locate it but no video stores carry it. I might have to purchase it through the internet. Anyway this film gives some really startling evidence that the earth may have been visited by aliens in prehistoric times. This showed some actual cave paintings and artwork in ancient tombs showing what appears to be space crafts. Perhaps the most amazing discovery of all is this landing strip in northern Chile. Visible only from the air, this is a straight line on a level surface and was possibly used as a landing field for aircraft.

I believe that the landint strip you speak of is called the Nazca alignment. Its probibly the most convincing evidence that man was previously able to fly, or perhaps it was space aliens that built the configuration.

Sorry dude, but those strips were made by a tribe, in a tradition to signal the gods, for prayer. They would walk in-line, and would push aside the rock, to create lines and shapes.

Im not saying there are not aliens, but we can contribute just anything to them. I would like to see the cave paintings, sounds cool.
