well, since we all seem to have wireless/cellular phones, this could be a good place to post your past/present providers and rate them.
Let's say on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best, rate:
Coverage
Cost
Features
Overall
Also, might want to note what metro market you are in.
I have Cingular in the New Orleans Metro area
Coverage is a 9, Service throughout South La., but my signal isn't too good at home.
Cost 8. Some other providers have better prices and more minutes, but I am happy
Features 5. I get voice mail, caller ID, call waiting etc.. I don't use many. never use internet either. I get text messages, but they cost per message, and they don't tell you. I found that out on their site. Oh, and regional plans are nice.
Overall, I would give them a 9... great coverage for my area, and good prices
My past provider was Sprint. at the time, my phone was digital only, so it sucked bad. I had very limited range. I think alot of their phones are digital only. That is bad for me, I travel alot of backroads and need to get on the cellular network sometime. Something to look into with Sprint and NExtel.
We use nextel at work, the 2 way radio is neat.. but the sound on it sux. After you use it for awhile, you get used to it I guess. Their coverage is like Sprints, digital and limited.
