Why does it take women so frikkin' long to get ready to go out?!

This is something that's been buggin' me for a good long while. What the hell are you doing behind those closed doors???

it takes me about 45 minutes to get ready, complete with shower. My bf takes longer to get ready :|

it doesn't always take women a long time to get ready. takes me about 20 minutes.

some women like to fix their hair just so. put their make up on just so. makes them feel good about themselves.

well with my experince i think the time it take a women to get ready varies based on personality. because i had girls take 30 then i had girls take 1 hour plus

I take about an hour and a half to get ready. Which is just because I like to take my time and do other things at the same time. Plus I have to change outfits about 20 times until I feel comfortable.

I have a guy friend who takes 3 and a half hours to get ready though.

umm... i take about 15 minutes.. bah! goin out to have fun, not to a wedding.. get yo ass in the car!:D

My record from bed to out is under ten minutes. You all suck. Start training at 5am. :mad:

I normally take around 10 - 15 mins between the shower and the door, then finish getting ready on the bus/in the car/ etc.

Makeup slows me down, because I'll try to do it fast and screw it up and then spend forever fixing it - that's the only time I take a long time.

Contact lenses are a bitch, too - very time-consuming in the morning when you're all squinty still.

I can take about 45 - 1hr. to get ready. :o But that's when I'm doing everything....shower, drying hair, getting dressed, makeup.

Other times it's 20 minutes. I just take a shower, get dressed, and put on minimal makeup.

i get up at 7:10 and am out the door by 7:30...i usually have time to eat breakfast. i always shower ahead of time, like night before or in the morning when i know that i'm going out later, so getting ready for me is just getting dressed and making sure i look half way decent. and if i don't look decent, i really don't care and leave the house anyways. i'm like the worst girl ever

:) im pretty much the same way. shower night before sort of thing. dont really wear much make up if i dont need it. besides if im not going out... out, then i dont really need to waste time with all that other stuff that just gets in the way.

I can be ready to head out for work or out out in under 15 minutes if needs be. Usually, I am waiting for my partner lol.

I'm usually ready for work in about 15 minutes, and that includes getting the cat his breakfast and fresh water and making my bed.

I shower the night before so that saves a lot of time in the morning. And I usually only wear eyeliner and mascara for makeup. It's easy to get dressed since my office is very casual - jeans and a nice top & I'm set. :)

I wouldn't bitch about taking so long to get ready. Most guys need a lesson in taking their time when getting ready. Nope, us girls DON'T like that wrinkled, musty smelling outfit you've worn 5 times and never washed. No, we don't like your haircut that is so over grown that your neck looks like a chia pet. And yes, a toothbrush and toothpaste IS mandatory.

Brushing teeth: 2 minutes using Sonicare
Gelling/styling hair: >1 minute
Getting dressed, regardless of clean or dirty clothes: 1-3 minutes

Yeah exactly, and that's 99% of guys. If you like the way we look, shut the heck up and give us the time to 'create the illusion' that we look like that all the time.

Depends where I'm going.. If I'm going to a club, it will take me awhile. I turn on my techno and take my time, but do it way before it's time to go out. If it's just during the day kind of stuff, maybe 15 minutes.

I dont take that long in terms of dressing and hair etc - because well I just run a brush through my hair, I dont wear makeup etc. Its the shower that gets me. Im in the shower for a good 45 minutes some days. Its my thinking place :|
