My first job was at KFC.
Wow, was that ever a fun job. I worked the night shift, so we got to take out the crappy KFC easy rock CD and we played metal all night. Our supervisor gave us tons of free food, hour-long breaks and some really potent hash. :nice:

Not counting babysitting....
I worked at the local airport cleaning planes. It was fun...we got paid for 4 hours minimum & only worked about an hour. Plus the bosses held parties all the time :D The only downside was that I dated a guy I worked with, and when we split it was kind of awkward.

First job was at Staples... Did pretty much every job in the store except management... Crappy job but they paid me pretty well (especially seeing as I stopped working hard after 1 year) and let me have whatever scheduling I wanted.

My first job was self employment doing computer support and web design.
My first job for someone else was a contract position at my school district doing computer upgrades for 4 weeks.

First job outside of my own house? Set up tables at the church for bingo night. I was 15. It was over summer vacation.
Second job: Summer work for the town of Hinsdale (where I grew up). Worked as a road maintenence worker. Was a gravey job. Drove around the town looking busy. Did some work. Every afternoon would go swimming and check out playboy. That was between Sophmore and Junior year in high school. I wish I could have that job back. It was just perfect.

Selling kiddies clothes to parents with noisy unpleasant little darlings on a Saturday in a grotty little shop; followed by being a waiter in a Viennese cafe-restaurant for 1.000 Schilling a month (1958).
Both student jobs.
