Really, what did they do to make you believe that Santa Clause did exist?
My parents would jiggle bells outside the house late at night and then they would take a large boot and a plate of flour(this only worked when it snowed.) and put the boot in the flour to make footprints going to the tree.
They even wrote Santa's name on some of the gifts that they had brought.
So how far did they go to make you believe? And would you do the same thing with your kids?

My parents made me me go to sleep early saying that Santa's coming, I left cookies and milk for him and carrots for the reindeer, and they also wrote that the gifts were from Santa.
I finally gave my mom the hint last year that I don't believe in Santa anymore though. I still get presents from "Santa" and so does my 22 year old sister.
When I get older and have kids I'll probably make them believe in Santa, because nothing's better than going to sleep on Christmas Eve and waking up the next morning to walk down the stairs and see all the presents around the Christmas tree. :)

My parents didn't have a shot with me & my younger brother. The older siblings told us there was no Santa when we were around 5 or 6 :(
My kids *kinda* know already. My son has been told at school and of course, he feels he needs to pass it on to his sister. I haven't gone to great lengths to enforce Santa, but it does give Mom leverage...Santa's watching you :D

My dad usually set me straight on the existence of made up things like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and God very early on.
We didn't do much. There woudl be the stockings santa would fill as well as presents he'd leave. My Dad would eat the cookies and milk we left out.
Other than that, not much. My siblings were more into the stories about him.

they didnt push the issue.i went to bed early and i think i wrote a few letters.no milk and cookies, but one night when my father passed out on the couch xmas eve i asked him xmas morning "did you see santa?"...he said "yeah, i had a beer with him" :p and i believed him :)
eventually i figured out the there cant be a santa becuase a 13 story housing project doesnt have a chimney :p

Nothing much, and no mention was made of anything when we kids figured things out on our own. Still, to this day, my mother thinks it's cute to write "from Santa" on one or two gifts
