Welcome to OnTopic Week 4: Alternative Energy
Last week was a wonderful discussion regarding marriage and various individual outlooks on it, as well as marriage for 'alternative' couples. If you wish to continue those discussions check out either our relationships forum or our political debate/big debate forums.
This week we shift the discussion to Alternative Energy. We're not going to limit the discussion to just 'green' energy, but rather, what else is out there? What is the future? What are we neglecting? This seems especially poingant with the continued debate over oil drilling, mideast oil, and foreign dependence.
Some potential ideas are:
Alternative Fuels, Oil, etc.
- Gas Prices, how does reliance on crude effect them
- Heating - Coal, Natural Gas, Others?
- Electricity - Nuclear, Coal, Hydro, new?
- What to do with Iraqi oil?
- US Dependence on oil/Mideast Oil
- Alternative fuel possibilities
- Why haven't alternative fuels been hyped or developed?
Think about wind, water, solar, nuclear, etc, anything, lets discussion energy.
Have fun! And remember, you can submit our own OnTopic idea by sending a short message to OnTopic@discussanything.com
Cheers
