This afternoon, an unidentifible driver, hit my dog.. "Hit and Run" He could have came and told me..

She was quite old, as a matter of fact we were born around the same time..
Unfortunately, she did not make it..but she will always be in my heart..

Since she was family, I thought I would share..

Its as sad as loosing a human family member.

You have my deepest sympathy.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

ya, one of our dogs died a while ago. Some coyotes killed it, I could hear its last yelps. It freaks you out a little.

Thanks for the concern guys.. It is like losing one of the family.

You take care of them like you would a child; feed, water, give lots of attention..

We have three dogs who are all just like family members. I can`t bear the thought of loosing any of them. It`s probably best to replace a lost pet as soon as you can.

I am sorry to hear that. I once had a dalmatian by the name of Celine. She was the closest friend I had. She got into some poison we left for mice and it killed her. She was only two years old and it really left a hole in my heart.
