There is ample evidence that we have been visited in the past, and continue to be visited today, why our government feels compelled to keep these things from us is beyond me. The only thing that makes any sense is that it would send all the religious fanatics over the edge.

I've seen video of craft that shape-shifts, makes 180degree high speed turns, and change color. Now I know the US military has nothing of the sort unless it is something they reverse engineered from the Roswell crash or something similar.

What's really cool is to look at ancient drawing that depict flying craft, the pyramids of Egypt, and Cydonia.

I pretty much agree with Corporate Avenger here. I think they have the stuff, but probably not at Area 51, not anymore anyway. I also think they are developing the technology from it in some way. Perhaps militarily. Look at the fixed-wing aircraft we have today. If the Stealth fighter and bomber were declassified it means they have, or are working on, something better already. Also, the next generation in space travel may be something they are looking to develop.

No doubt they have it, what I doubt is whether or not they know how it works.

I will ask my brother the name of an author that writes about aliens being on earth and creating humans. The authors claims that when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed there was evidence of a high powered explosive going off in that area that could not have been created back then.

There are platues in Asia that hold huge rock structures some on sheer cliffsides that couldn't have ben moved there by humans. The author claims they are landing strips.

When I find out the authors name I will post it. I believe it's written as 5 different books.

I believe the government witholds evidence of alien interaction for two reasons. One: they believe aliens to be aggressive and wish to withold any evidence of a possible threat until it (intent) can be confirmed. Two: People will disagree as to the nature of the aliens. Some will say peaceful, others will say malevolent, and enmity will breed twist the two groups. Keeping such evidence under wraps would be a good way to keep people from killing each other.

I agree largely with Glen and CA on this.

The point about stealth bombers especially. That was classified for how many years? Why even bother declassifying it, unless it is no longer the top top secret machine?

Part of NASAs bylaws state that any discovery of extra terrestrial life is considered a 'national security issue' and no information can be released until cleared by the NSA...interesting.

So, there are tons of sightings. Tons of 'strange things' on Mars.

We see similarities between ancient cultures, acorss the world from one another.

We see technology we just can't believe (pyramids, stone hedge)

when i lived in roswell i met a guy that was in the military at the time of the crash. he'd sometimes answer yes/no questions, but if anyone ever asked "what actually happened?" all he would say is "you don't want to know" *insert x-files theme here*

I don't know about that, but it's interesting because it sounds similar to another theory.... this sounds really out there, but (since this is the conspiracy section, i'll tell it) From a Biblical perspective, many people believe that in the days of Noah, celestial beings (fallen angels) were coming to earth for the purpose of merging with humans, and this resulted in hybrid creatures, known as Nephilim. These creatures and their descendents were abominations, evil spirits with human bodies. According to this theory, this is one reason for the worldwide flood.

So, what many people believe is that 'aliens' are actually celestial beings (fallen angels/demons) and what is interesting is that even some secular researchers believe that aliens are not extra-terrestrial, but hyperdimensional, which would go with the theory they are fallen angels.

Name one credible scientist who believes 'aliens' have visited Earth, Cindy. :|

Well, that's not exactly what I said, David. I mentioned researchers - meaning people who have researched the 'alien' question, and to give you at least one name, Dr. John Mack, who is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a Pulitzer prize winning author. He actually stunned the academic world when he came out publicly with his (unpopular) theory on aliens. I'll see if I can find something that sums up what he believes, if you want.
