What do women think about and what do they want?

Ive only been married for just over a year, and Im still trying to learn exactly how my wife works.

Unfortunately she didn't come with an instruction manual, but thats okay I found all the button anyways. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/smile.gif

But seriously, what insight into the realm of women can you give me?

Well, I've had a nice thing going for about a month and a half, but the axe fell this past Friday. So, expect a lengthy post from me in the next couple days.

Stop trying. Been married 13 years. Just when you think you've got it figured out, she changes the rules of the game...

I don't know....I think Women as a whole are hard to figure out....but a Woman, if you let them talk long enough, and actually listen...can be figured out for the most part...

This is just my opinoin...

Jester, I'll agree with that. The thing is that generalities about women can be made . . . call it stereotyping if you like, it doesn't matter.

I think that, in general, young girls want what they can't have, 24-30 want to hang onto what they've got, and 31+ realize what they originally thought they wanted sucked, and the things they used to make fun of would really make them joyous.

Oh, there are notable exceptions, I'll agree. Actually, every woman is an exception . . . if you ask them http://discussanything.com/Ubb/wink.gif. But, as I've said before, if you ask most women what they want, they'll blindly recite "I want a nice guy with a sense of humor" . . . which is utter and complete ca-ca. Ten to one, Carrot Top is not getting as much ass as the guys from Blink-182, and I hear they're utter bungholes in person (several sources).

Then again, how can you blame girls for that? In our society, we're telling them that they're just as strong, tough, and driven as men . . . but, they should be 5'10", 104 pounds, with a 38-22-32 figure. We also say (as a society) that women should wear clothes four sizes too small, push-up bras in junior high, and have their tongues pierced, BUT they shouldn't allow others to treat them as sexual objects. We encourage young women to express their sexuality, but we criticize them for selling it . . . or even giving it away. Oh, and then we criticize them for being a tease if they do neither one!

As a parent, I don't envy the young women of today's society. Granted, they have power way beyond any other time in history, BUT, the mental issues are much too confusing to find comfort in it.

How the HECK did I get out this far . . .??

I believe you were trying to explain women... a long twisting road that leads nowhere.

I think it was God's intention that men should never understand how a woman's mind works, my friend. I am in my late 30's and I still dont understand.

No, you see, by the time you DO figure things out, it's too late.

I've about figured out how 16-24 year old bimbos think and act . . . enough to probably have some success with them. But, SHEEEEESH, it's too much damn trouble dealing with them. It's a lot like eating an orange with a fork . . . one wrong squeeze, and you get it in the eye. Besides, by the time you figure out how to keep one, you realize it's not worth keeping anyway.

The KEY is to move past the superficial happiness and find JOY . . . and that only comes from someone who can appreciate you as much as you can appreciate them.
