Something I did which was very good was a lemon/vodka thing. (I think there's a real name for it, but a digress)

-Small Cooler, meant for beverages
-2 750ml Vodka (I used Smirnoff)
-1 cup of sugar
-6 lemons

Basically, I poured the vodka in the cooler, added the sugar and sliced the lemons into pieces (Not wedges, circles) I let that soak for a few days, then chilled it in the freezer.

Awesome to shoot, good to sip, and blend in water (hlaf and half, mix to water) and some lemon "pulp" and you get awesome lemonade.

I call this one The Remedy. My customers swear by it when they have a cold.

Make a small (2 cups) pot of strong tea.

In a tumbler or pint glass combine:
1 & 1/2 oz Bourbon.
Juice of 1 lemon.
Sugar to taste.

Pour in the tea and drink while hot.

A buddy of mine does a similar thing with Rum & Neo Citran.

A drink Ira (my roomie) and I recently made, we call The Pounder.

You take a medium sized glass, half fill it with ice. Put a pineapple circle sitting on the ice.

Pour whalers rum over the pineapple, about 2-3 shots (depending on how strong you like drinks)

Add a small dash of pineapple juice

Top off with tonic water

Squeez 1/4 of a lime into it.

Garnish with a cherry.

Its quite good. The lack of a sweet mixer makes it really light.

The Vijay Sting:

1 & 1/4 oz Vodka
dash of bar lime
dash of grapefruit
dash of O.J.
dash of cranberry

Place all ingredients in shaker with ice & shake the crap out of it.
Serve with orange & cherry garnish.:)

Colonel, how is bar lime different than lime?

It's a powder drink mix. It's also kinda fake tasting but it's a whole lot easier than using fresh lime juice, simple syrup and egg white which is what it replaces in many cocktails.

The lime gives you the tartness. The syrup sweetens it up and the egg white produces that rich foam on the top of your bevy when it's shaken.

Cheers!

Fuzzy Scrotum

1 shot vodka
1 shot midori
1/2 shot chambord
oj

Its so cool for chics to tell other chics that they have to try my fuzzy scrotum...

I used to have a sign behind my bar thet read "Everyone loves my fuzzy scrotum"
I got so many interesting propositions because of that sign. :D

Another one, I didn't invent it, but its just about the best drink I've ever had (and that's saying something)

Watermelon Nerd
tall glass
1 shot watermelon pucker
1/2 shot apple pucker
1/2 shot rasberry pucker
1/2 shot 151
Fill with equal parts oj and cranberry

Tastes just like Nerds candy. If you sub Grape pucker for watermelon it tastes just like grape nerds.

Oooh, J, those both sound good.

My jungle juice recipie is getting more and more refined...

(all bottles are 750ml unless otherwise noted)

1 bottle of Vanilla Vodka
1 Bottle of Citrus Vodka
1 Bottle of Coconut Rum

2 Two Liters of Hawiian Punch
1 Two Liter of Sprite

2 Cans of Passion Fruit Mix
2 Cans of Chunky Pineapple

1/2 Cup Sweet Lime Juice

It was REALLY tasty, but a bit weak. My original included a bottle of 151, but that was too harsh. I think next time im going to add 1 bottle of something, either a silver rum or a vodka.
