It's official. Me and three of my best friends will be in Manhattan from Dec. 24th to Jan. 3rd. I've never been to the east coast and the fact that I'm going with great friends (two of which grew up there and only moved out here a couple years ago) is super exciting.

And a bonus - I won't have to deal with the chaos that is family around christmas time is fantastic!

And I'm staying in LA for thanksgiving too, which means no family chaos for thanksgiving either!

It's gonna be a good holiday season.

I'd be up for it.
I don't really feel like driving to or in NYC though.
You are right on the island somewhere right?

Maybe I can hitch a ride with Tam. :|

No, I live in Long Island. Im about 40 miles east of Manhattan. I work in Brooklyn.

Instead of driving, you could always take Amtrack from Philly to Manhattan. It will save you alot of stress from driving and finding a parking spot (or if you go to a parking garage, you will avoid paying a small fortune).

Since Amtrack and the LIRR end up in Penn Station we could meet up there.

There are plenty of clubs/bars we can go to in midtown and downtown. There is plenty to do so we will not get bored. Even walking around can be fun because you dont know who or what you will come across.

A good place to eat is Jeckyll and Hydes.

Should I invest in a Bullet Proof Vest and some heat before I come out there?

I'll be in MO for most of that time, and won't be able to take any time off once I get back...

we'll see tho when the time comes, maybe I'll be able to work something out
