Who has them/uses them?

My bud had one an aviation one. We used it for flying all the time. Lots easier to use than VOR's etc.. Well, my dad said he wanted one for his work. So I found a Magellan Map 330 for about $215 and me and my mom got it for him for Christmas last year (surprised the hell out of him!) I started palying around with and it realized that I could actually use this handheld for flying. So, my mom got me one for my birthday last year.

I haven't had the chance to use it for flying, but I like to plug it up when we go on a road trip. It is also handy while trail riding on ATV's. Mine came with a map cd, it is so detailed, that it actually shows fire lanes/roads on the pipeline by my house!

my boss has one of them sitting around the office somewhere, i have never really messed around with it though....

I've only messed around with GPS in the expensive cars...

They really intriuge me though, kinda cool!

My dad has one he uses when he goes offshore fishing. He doen't let ANYONE touch it though, he's afraid we'll find his fishing holes!!!
