My vacation was absolutely spectacular. If you have never been on a cruise, GO!! It was wonderful. The ship I was on was huge. With the crew and the guests there was over 5k people on board.

Of all of the ports, Jamacia was my favorite. The atmosphere was very nice. I was offered weed and coke numerous times which wasn't that fun, but I had a good time. One thing that I wasn't prepared for was the hassling that you get when shopping. In Haiti, if you saw something that you thought was nice they were already bagging it up for you before you even knew the price. By the time I got to Mexico I learned how to bargin and bargin well. I got a pair of very nice earrings for my sister-in-law for $15. The guy started out at $45. One guy tried to sell me a necklace for my brother for $30 and I got him down to $10.

I went on two excursions. One in Jamacia, one in Grand Cayman. Jamacia was a Glass bottom boat of sorts. You walked down some stairs on the boat and there was glass so you could see the reef and all the fish. In Grand Cayman I went snorkling in stingray city. That excursion was okay. It would have been better if I didn't panic in the water cause I felt like I was drowning. :(

I got lots of alchohol. It's incredibly cheap. I got a big bottle of Bicardi 151 for $6. I got some tequila, kahlua, Jamician rum, flavored rum, and citrus vodka. I think I spent maybe $20 - $25 on all of that.

Awesome trip, I can't wait to go again. :)

Oh one more addition...

The shows at night were incredible.

They did excerpts from West Side Story one night, and of course the first person to pop in my mind was Scott :)

And then Eric, cause if he was there he'd be so bored :D

Sounds SO much better than the cruise I was on

My class went on a cruise to Ensenada (Mexico) for our senior trip...holy crap. People were getting drunk off their asses (drinking age is 18), and spending all their time in the casino. The excursions were wierd...Catalina was okay, but Ensenada itself was filled...FILLED with small children, probably 6 years old or younger, selling bracelets and chicklets...It was SO sad!

Maybe if i ever go on one again I'll try the carribean :)

Glad you had a great time, FA!
