I like to fish. Usually it's from a canoe and in small streams/rivers. (Fresh water) I usually fish while I’m camping and I fish to eat so I go for the pan fish … I have caught some pretty big pickerel and bass from the fresh water (4-5 lbs)

never caught anything big.. I have caught lots of fish at one time, but never any really big ones. I like to fish ponds and lakes with H&H spinners mostly.

Also, setting out set hooks on the creek bank is pretty shibby too. Me and my bud used to do that back home, we caught lots of mud and blue cats that summer. We would wrap them in tin foil and cover them in butter and Tony's, throw them in the fire and eat them later.. good stuff

I dont know the biggest one I ever got. I did catch some mighty large Northerns while I was in Canada with my dad. We usually ate everything we caught.

Fresh water fisherman here. I have 1300 square miles of lake not 5 miles from here. Biggest I ever caught was 26 pound striper. A couple of years ago my friend who is a professional fisherman, caught a 50 pound large mouth. After he reeled it in he was shaking. He took some pictures and let it go. He doesn't like to eat fish just likes to catch them. Anyway, it turns out that there was no film in his camera, and he nearly threw up. later that season some dude caught the state record which was like 52 pounds or something not fiive feet from where he caught his. Could have been the same one.

I haven't been in a few years. Spend to much time and money on my car. But, when I was going I did a lot of freshwater fly fishing. mostly for trout and bass. I also did a lot of salt water fishing.

Fishing is awsome, couple friends nice spot, relax talk and hook some fish. There's a pond down the road that I could catch about 25-30 fish in a day. Mostly Sunfish and Crappie, I'd throw them all back but it was fun just to catch and release. Some of the best fishing is on small farm ponds.

I"m an avid fly-fisherman. In my area, we have the best landlocked salmon fishing in the US. (Landlocks are Atlantic salmon that forgot to return to the sea after spawning several million years ago.) We also have some great brook trout fishing and small mouth bass. You can also catch striped bass and bluefish (ocean) on a fly.

The biggest fish I've caught on a fly was a 9 lbs wild Atlantic salmon on the Narraguagus River in Cherryfield, Maine. (Currently, Atlantics are on the endangered list, so no fishing.)

My best trip was for bonefish in the Bahamas.

I've been fishing since I was a little girl. One time, when I was like 8 or so, I pulled up my line to check and see if there was anything on it, and this white crab type thing with blue tips was on it, I got scared so I just lowered it back in the water and hoped it went away.
