I’m going to be on hiatus for one month from all message boards on which I participate.

I shall not post nor lurk again at any Internet forum until at least October 10, 2003, oh, let’s say before noon.

Wonder how I’ll feel at the end of it? I’ll post my navel contemplation/impressions at that time, and otherwise update my journal, which I plan to keep in an off-line form.

Patrick, going cold turkey

(PS: I realize it’s unlikely anyone gives a hoot, one way or the other. I just figured this message will be enough to strengthen my will. I don’t like lying, even to myself.)

Did it. Will have to update my journal sometime this week.

Whoa. Hi, swimdad. Jim's right here. Even though I tend to refer to myself by my middle name (Patrick) outside of TMF.

I'll bet you didn't list me as a referral when you signed up, did you?

I've been coming here off and on for a few months now. Figured I'm getting the boot from TMF next February, since I ain't paying. So, I've been checking this place out.

I don't even spam posts to move up the ranks around here. Getting to gold star has permanently cured me of my post whoring tendencies.

Not sure why I don't use InkJetLabel as my ID outside of TMF. Ironweed was the book I was reading when I signed up here.

Don't be a stranger, Charlie, even if you get comped come next February. :)

LOL, I remember that. According to Raging Bull, you actually made 12 posts on the NADA board. Each one saying pretty much the same thing, eh? :D
