Was woken up by Drew calling my cell phone to tell me he'd been stranded at work. He's getting transferred (or possibly fired, we're not sure yet) from his job in Glendale, but had no one to pick him up and no way to get home. So I drove out to Glendale and picked him up. He then went with me to LA Valley College where we took one look at the 2.5-hour plus line that I would've needed to wait in to pay the fee that I didn't know was never paid. But that's another story, nevermind. Anyway, I figure I'll go either on Sunday or Monday to pay the fee (I have until the 14th to pay it) and sign up for the history class I want to take.

So since we were right there, we decided to go back to Grant for awhile. We got in, no problem, and went cavorting around campus like old times. We saw the teachers we wanted to see, I met the teacher who took over for Play Production. He wants to turn the classroom into McAlister Theatre. I'm all in favor of that. Other stuff happened, but little of note.

Then Drew and I went out to the Hertz sales and rental place on Van Nuys. I put a hold on a Mercury Cougar that could be mine for $14K and change. I'll talk to my dad about it tonight and tomorrow, and hopefully Friday we'll go take care of it. There's a chance, however, that I'll switch it for a Chevy Impala which they also had there.

So that's my day up to this point. I'll prob'ly go out to food and movie with Drew tonight, and tomorrow we're both gonna go to the DMV. Me to re-take my photo, and him to hopefully get his licence.
