What I've said many a times after another addictive round of counter strike. Anyone else got bitten?

Ok, go ahead and laugh, but what is Counterstrike? I've people mention it before.

it's cool...not all people can be a nerdy as others :)



Couterstrike is a Online Game based off the Half-Life engine.


It's free to download if you have the game Half-Life...and you log on to many MANY diffrent servers...

The game is a basic deathmatch setting...

Terrorists, and Counter Terrorists...

When the Game begins, you get your mission objective...

i.e Blow up targer-terrorists
Stop terrorists from blowing up target- Counter-terrorists

Then you have a certian amount of money to buy gear..

This is where the game really shines, the realistic weapons..

everything from the H&K Mp5 to a Barett .50 Cal Sniper Rifle.

when the game begins..you can't go in guns blazing like say QUAKE 3, because the damage is relistic...You can take one or two shots to the arms and chest...(depending on the weapon), but one shot to the head usually kills you.


then you wait around till everyone dies, or the obective is completed.......

and you start again...

Counterstrike is so boring....Patrick plays it, and it's one of the only games I refuse to watch. It's like, if you're a terrorist 'go over here, plant a bomb (or protect someone else while they plant it), shoot some guys, rinse and repeat'. If you're a counter-terrorist, it's even worse - 'Shoot some guys, shoot some more guys, try not to get shot, rinse and repeat'. I dunno, I need something that's a little less repetitive, personally.

If only I had a PC.:( I feel so left out.

Haha, will do, pal. Man, I was on a gorgeous streak today. Went 9-3 on Dust 2, my new fav map. Its hella cool, cuz there are so many different ways to attack. We should set up a playtime some day, man. We'll go at it like savages.

Counter Strike is like Quake III Team Arena, jwreck... they should have that for MACs!

I was addicted to Quake... mmm... and Counter Strike reminds me of it, too bad my hands are totally shot and they get numb after a while :)
