Why do people drink to get trashed/s**tfaced/hammered, etc.? There were three actresses that I work with at my job, all of whom were going to a party for another actress, and they were talking about how they "need to get trashed" (one even said "SO trashed") at the party. Why? What is it about being drunk that is so appealing? I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I can't understand the desire to lose control of just how much you cut loose. I've seen too many fights, breakups, hook-ups, and passed out friends, had my shoulder cried on too many times, carried too many friends up stairs, down stairs, through yards, into cars, to hotel rooms, or what have you to see anything but danger and harm coming from being that drunk. I understand getting buzzed, or even lightly drunk. I understand using it to relax a little and to just let the day/week/month's troubles all drift away. But to get that hammered is something I do not understand.

Because it's fun?

Stage have you ever gotten nicely drunk and just talked to a person and been stupid, you say things youd want to sy but wouldnt normally do because you were scared or somethign else. Its just fun, no one NEEDS to get trashed, but one day promise me you'll try it? id like to see you drunk, and it would be cool to talk to you when you were as well.

Sure...it's easy to get all goofy..and act stupid....especially for actors..

but...with a few drinks...you're not "trying" to be goofy....you just "are"

you don't have to think about any more.....


And...sprite..i used to be the same way....untill i started likeing the taste of beer...

never say never....it's ok to drink....just be smart about it

I'll promise nothing, but I won't say never, either. Who knows. Hell, I had a craving for pot earlier this semester, totally random but it was there.
