that i want to make into an avatar, but the file size is too big. anyone know how i can fix it?

Go to file, save for web
that sometimes works for me.

tried that, didn't work. it's a simple pic, the file shouldn't be that big. i must be doing something wrong when i save it....

Here woman. Your pic was too wide. You had it 83 pixels and max is 80 pixels. I fixed it. Save it and use it as normal now.

That will be one nude for payment. :D

thanks. the message i always get is 85 X 100, so i didn't think it was the dimensions of the picture....

Oops. Typo on my part. It is 85x100. You had the width at 88 pixels. It is now 85x77. It was still too wide. Quit being arguementative, woman. :|
