It seems as though he thinks he knows a thing or two about Mustangs and doesn't like to be called out on his heaping shitpile of misinformation! :D

hrmm i disagree
98s had 225 hp
acording to the online reviews i have seen
looks like the 97s still had 215
but it really dosent matter, im just curious now
You could be right. I know the 96 and 97 had 215 and the 98's got a bump in hp. I thought it was 235, but I could be wrong.

After reading the thread you posted and all of the freaking numbers here and there, I think I'm going insane.
After doing a little more research, I was lmao that Cody has ran a best of 14.60 and is claiming that the Cobra's are so slow :D

Nic, please correct me if I am wrong: (working from memory here)
85 -> roller motors
83-92 -> forged pistons
85 -> 195 hp
86 -> 215 hp (first year for EFI, Speed Density)
87 -> 225 hp, 1st year MAF was availible, most still SD
88 -> 225 hp, later half of model year all were MAF (my 5.0 for the Maverick is out of an 88 w/MAF, sold new here in Ohio in Dec, 1987...)
Just checking to see how many brain cells I've lost arguing with your buddy, Ian... :D :D
