so lately this whole teeny boppy punk thing has been getting to me.its amusing some times to see kids who think there hardcore because their hair is blue and they wear converses and listen to sum 41 but ya know enough is enough already.anybody else feelin this?

When we used to go to church picnics in the park, we'd bring our radio and CD's and the kids would say stuff like..."Hey, you listen to really great/cool music." All suprised we could listen to cool music!! I'm like....."We were cool before you were born!"

They pay tons of cash for bell bottoms........BELL BOTTOMS!! I MADE mine. Cut the seams and sewed the material in, patched them in appropriate places, added a few inches to the bottom and whala......cool!


All teenie boppers do the same thing....it's a fad and it will pass. You were just as irritating, I'm sure. I know I really iritated my Mom!! :D :D

Man, it is just so disheartening. Cause I look at the high schoolers these days and I go, God, was I that annoying?

But seriously, it is just horrible. I can't go anywhere without either wanting to kill some 14-16 yearold or want to kill myself to end the pain.

hehe bell bottoms...but just to my defense when i wore bells they were bells from the 60-70s that my mommy used to wear :)

Heh, I agree...only bellbottoms I've ever worn used to belong to my parents (minus that one pair of jeans that started out a little flared and ended up shrinking everywhere but around the ankles...)

But I hear you about the teenyboppers, totally. I *know* that I never did stuff like that - I was 'that weird girl' who refused to look like a teenybopper to be 'cool'. Which I think gives me the right to look at them now and laugh....Do you realize that Sum 41 or whoever they are do synchronized jumping around on stage? Like 'ooh, look, we're punk, we jump up and down while we play...ok guys, let's start the routine.' They just look really funny...I think I saw em on SNL one night or something.
