View Full Version : The Wallmart Mullet people
Fordman50 12-07-2001, 10:30 AM What is up with the freak show that is Walmart? Every one I go to have bearded ladies, 2 foot tall men, 800 pound kids, toothless women, and mullets gallore, even on the chicks! Last time I brought this up on SN I got labeled an elitist. I come from about as poor a family as they get but they have education and good taste at least. These inbreads look worse than the knuckle draggers who come out of the woods for the state fair!
Snouter 12-07-2001, 11:44 AM LOL ;)
If people are friendly, I don't care what they look like. If they don't bathe regularly, then I get annoyed.
ChaoticThoughts 12-08-2001, 04:06 AM Oh man, we had a walmart built in our area, we didnt have one before. I walked in, and its run by old people and those who barely grasp the enlish lanuage.
As I am looking for some cheap oil for my car, I pass all of these yellow smily faces :):):), and cheerful colors... It was as if the world had been brainwashed and everyone inside were mindless drones...
It was very disturbing.
Going in Walmart or the Waffle House is always like getting to view a live episode of Jerry Springer! I can't count how many people I've seen arrested in those two places!
Shadowhawk 12-09-2001, 04:22 PM More like something outta 'Deliverance' in some cases:D The one in Conyers is the WORLD'S WORST for organization & customer service too. Of course, when I was at Wal-Mart in Lawrenceville last night it took the idiot running the register over 1/2 hour to get our line of 6 people down to where he cashed us out:mad: Nobody had more than 20 items either!
BTW, Chaotic... I've priced it around. Oil's cheaper at Pep Boys than at Wal-Mart I've found. Unless you're buying that generic non-API certified crap that Wal-Mart sells that is:D And the good thing is you usually don't have to deal with braindead snaggle-toothed FOB cashiers at Pep-Boys
CGord 12-09-2001, 08:06 PM The Wallmart Mullet people
Having moved from California to Arizona this year, it shocked me to see all the mullets, & fullets, around here. They are everywhere. It's like I warped back to 1991.
Having said that, the people here are much friendlier on the average. Strangers say 'hello', hold doors, etc. Definitely less attitude.
But yeah, Wal-Mart has more...colorful... customers here than at, say, Safeway. Plus, the Safeway near me has a Starbucks in it. All hail the mighty Mocha Frappacino!
/me turns up the Scorpions cd on the way to work... :D
Contraband 12-10-2001, 12:17 AM So maybe it is just me. Walmart is suppsoed to be this superpowerful conglomeration sort of dealy, and they have like the biggest revunues and sales and all that - but i have never seen one or been into one - where are they? Now i know you are going to say that they are in white trash neighborhoods ----but how do those people spend more money than us that shop at Lord & Taylor and the Sharper Image?

I didnt mention I live on a ****ing island. So, I have limited resources here.
Powerboss 12-10-2001, 01:17 AM Sure you see some lowlifes at Walmart but so what?
Where do you want them to shop?
Walmart does have some good prices on some stuff, like baby formula, diapers, and Grape Juice. Why not buy those items there if you can save a few bucks?
They have a play kitchen that sells for 68 dollars. ToysRUS had the exact same kitchen for 95 dollars. Guess where I bought the kitchen from?
And I dont look funny, have a funny haircut, or am poor.
Although, times are tight, since we are only relying on 1 income now and health insurance is costing us in the neighborhood of $750 dollars a month.
Ian, for one who claims to stand up for the poor and all that, you sure are one hatefilled, nasty SOB to people who may not be as well off as you or may not be good looking.
Is that how you judge people Ian? By where they shop and how they look? If so you are one shallow mutha.

Now i know you are going to say that they are in white trash neighborhoods They started in the south and spread from here. They are very sporadic up north compared to one every 5 miles here in Houston.----but how do those people spend more money than us that shop at Lord & Taylor and the Sharper Image? Think of it in these terms "Luwky thar Maw, thems britches is only $9.99. Shucks, wes cen gets everbuddy thar own paar and quit sherin alls the tiime!"
CGord 12-11-2001, 11:42 PM Woooh, Bill, chill out! No mullet, no problem!
We all shop there, that's how we all know about the freakshow!
Besides, this is from a guy who spells it "inbreads"! :D
slayr420 12-12-2001, 12:01 AM Skipping that $750/mo insurance will give you more than enough money for that 73" high definition TV, which is on sale at Walmart this weekend.
Powerboss 12-12-2001, 02:59 AM I GOTS to have health insurance for the family.
Especially with 2 year old and 2 1/2 month old.
We have been looking for alternatives, and may have found somehting that looks pretty good so hopfully it wont stay that high.
Inbreads? Is that a kind of food? ;)
CGord 12-12-2001, 09:45 AM Insurance is definitely a killer in this state, it was an expense I sure wasn't expecting.
well, I do all my shopping at wally world... grocery and house hold stuff that is.
Very convenient and their prices can't be beat. Sure you can go to another groc store and get a few items cheaper, but overall , you just can't beat Sam's Choice or Greater Value products :D

Dont you or your wife get it through work?
It cant be that much if you are, can it?
See, my wife aint working, and me being self employed, makes it difficult.
86Dude 12-17-2001, 04:14 PM I live in Wal-Mart hell. I work for Sam Walton's son. I just fixed his computer the other day. Imagine, fixing the computer of someone with a net worth of over 20 billion dollars.
Have to be careful what I say. Around here, just 5 miles from the Wally corporate headquarters, your life can be forever ruined for whispering bad things about Wal-Mart.
My favorite thing about Wal-Mart is all the fat freaks on those motorized carts. That is so pathetic.

I heard one guy in a camaro tell me "it's business up front and vacation in the back.."
